Bonhams Magazine asked me to write a piece on Léonard Tsuguharu Foujita ahead of their upcoming sale on a rare work by the artist, Chiens savants, ou le Carnaval des chiens (1922). Remarkably the work had only been seen in public once since 1922 and subsequently sold for an astonishing £3.9 million.
