Emilia Will
Editor, creative director and writer based in London
My interests lie at the intersection of fine art, popular culture, politics, the environment and folklore. I specialise in managing and delivering illustrated non-fiction, as well as children’s picture books, from conception, commissioning and consulting, to press and publicity.

I am driven by the belief that art is for everyone and have collaborated with world-renowned artists, creators, designers, estates and studios, including but not limited to: Yoko Ono, Tracey Emin, Hilma af Klint and Piet Mondrian, Dick Bruna, Yinka Ilori, Quentin Blake, Barbara Hepworth and Maria Bartuszová. I have collaborated with institutions such as the Paul Mellon Centre and the National Gallery of Australia.

I have commissioned bestselling and prize-winning books with a particular focus on platforming underrepresented voices and women artists. Notable titles include Visions of the Occult by Victoria Jenkins, Radical Landscapes and Sex Magic: Diagrams of Love, alongside award-winning children’s books such as Pierre’s New Hair by Joseph Hollis, winner of the Klaus Flugge Prize in 2022.

I am also involved in the DIY publishing circuit and have collaborated with HateZine, D.IY. Space for London, Northwest Zinefest, Grrrl Zine Fair, Village Green Festival, Swansea Zine Fest, The People’s Film Club at Battersea Arts Centre and PROCESS! Festival at Somerset House.

I am the author of two books, published by Tate Publishing 2020, The Cat and The Dog and am an experienced ghostwriter of non-fiction.

When I’m not busy with the above, you can find me hiking up a mountain or out at sea on a Celtic longboat in West Wales.
